About AirPoint // Our history

On that day, the history of AirPoint began. The official opening of our first flight centre took place in Warsaw, where everyone could take the controls of a Boeing 737-800 and experience what a flight looks like from a pilot's perspective.

It was May October, and Saska Kępa smelled sweet – it was right there that our first branch was located. In this place, the dream of flying ceased to be an idea and became reality. The first AirPoint took off and we knew straight away that this was only the beginning.

The opening of AirPoint Kraków was another important stage in our journey. At Rynek Główny 6, in the Grey Tenement, we launched an Airbus A320 simulator — a place where the rhythm of the city of Kraków meets the precision of aviation technology.

Through the windows, the bustle of the Main Square and the conversations of passers-by can be heard, while in the background the bugle call from St Mary's Tower resounds every hour. In such a setting, the A320 has settled in for good, becoming part of the heart of Kraków and another step in the development of AirPoint.

The opening of AirPoint Gdańsk was another step in the development of our brand and fleet. On the Motława, in the very heart of the city, we launched another Airbus A320.

Right next to the Museum of the Second World War, a space has been created where the sound of A320 engines mixes with the murmur of the river and the atmosphere of the Gdańsk waterfront. It is here that AirPoint has gained its seaside character, and the A320 has joined our growing fleet.

For the first time, AirPoint joined Museum Night. In Warsaw (15/05), Kraków (21/05) and Gdańsk (15/05), we made our cockpits available to visitors, opening the door to the world of aviation outside the standard flight schedule.

Centra AirPoint were the first simulator centres in Poland in history to take part in this event. Interest exceeded all expectations — several thousand people visited us, and the queues stretching hundreds of metres outside the entrances became a feature of the evening's attraction in their own right.

Museum Night proved to be one of the most intense and exceptional days in AirPoint's history, showing just how great the interest in aviation is and how close we can be to our guests.

On that day, we had the pleasure of hosting the Dzień Dobry TVN crew in our cockpit. Bartek Jędrzejak took the controls of the Boeing 737-800 at AirPoint Warsaw, assisted by our reliable instructor Jacek.

TVN viewers could see our simulator during 4 live broadcasts. To start with, a take-off from Warsaw, then a landing in Madeira, a visit to New York and stormy conditions over Vienna. Everything went according to plan, and the task was all the more difficult as during each broadcast Bartek Jędrzejak presented the weather forecast.

In 2021, exactly twenty years had passed since the establishment of Polish VACC — a community that brings together virtual pilots and air traffic controllers, creating one of the most important projects in the Polish virtual aviation world.

To mark the occasion of 11th November, a special event took place at AirPoint Warsaw, during which Polish VACC air traffic controllers gathered in our spaces and spent the entire day controlling the Polish virtual airspace. It was a unique moment when AirPoint became a venue for celebrating two decades of passion, dedication, and the shared history of this community.

AirPoint Warsaw has gained a new, larger home. We have moved from Saska Kępa to Muranów — into a space that has allowed us to spread our wings and create a place even better suited to our guests.

The change of location was more than just a move. It is a step towards a greater scale, new opportunities and the next chapter in the history of AirPoint. Muranów has become the new centre of our Warsaw flights, and once again we have proved that AirPoint grows alongside its dreams and continually sets industry standards.

Our fourth simulator has officially joined the fleet — a Boeing 737 MAX 8 at AirPoint Warsaw. This is an important moment as we have expanded the Warsaw centre with another machine, creating space for even more advanced aviation experiences.

AirPoint Warsaw has become the first and only simulator centre in Poland to offer both the Boeing 737-800 and the Boeing 737 MAX 8 in one location. As a result, our guests can experience the differences between both aircraft using a unique setup available only at AirPoint Warsaw.

AirPoint has officially arrived in Silesia. Right in the centre of Katowice, on the ground floor of the ALTUS building at 13 Uniwersytecka Street, we have opened our fourth AirPoint branch and launched the fifth simulator in our fleet — a Boeing 737‑800.

The new branch in Katowice has strengthened our presence on the map of Poland and become an important step in AirPoint's development — a place that expands the capabilities of our fleet and reinforces AirPoint's position as a leader in simulator experiences.

An episode has been released on the „Nauka. To lubię” channel, in the creation of which we had a major input and part!

Science. I Like It in the Field is a holiday series visiting various fascinating places. It turns out that dreams of flying are within reach... literally! In July, alongside the film crew, Tomek Rożek visited AirPoint Warsaw, where he was able to sit at the controls of a Boeing 737 MAX 8 under the watchful eye of Captain Mateusz Osęka.

AirPoint has arrived in Wrocław. On 18 January we opened a new branch, and the inaugural flight took off at 10:15 at the controls of our newest Airbus A320 simulator.

The first day was fully booked, and Wrocław immediately became an important point on the AirPoint map and the simulator map of Poland.

AirPoint in the capital of Greater Poland — in Poznań. Right next to Stary Browar, we have launched the seventh simulator in our fleet: the second Boeing 737 MAX 8 to join the AirPoint network in Poland.

The new location in the city centre has increased the availability of our flights in western Poland. Poznań has become a place where AirPoint is closer to its customers than ever before — another point on the map that strengthens our presence and facilitates access to aviation experiences.
