Aviation Workshops at AirPoint are a unique opportunity to combine learning with a fascinating experience and great fun in realistic flight simulators. Our range consists of:
- Workshops for children and young people — conducted in mixed-age groups, tailored in level to the participants
- Workshops for adults — for those who want to broaden their knowledge, try something new or develop an aviation-related hobby
Classes take place at three AirPoint locations: Warsaw, Kraków and Gdańsk, and each workshop cycle has its own carefully prepared guiding theme. This allows every participant to choose the sessions that best suit their interests — from the basics of pilot career development to more advanced topics related to IFR flights or onboard systems.

FMS from scratch
Theoretical and practical workshops
„FMS from Scratch is a practical, interactive workshop designed for young aviation enthusiasts and those who want to begin their journey with virtual flight. During the sessions, participants will learn the secrets of one of the most important elements of the modern cockpit – the Flight Management System (FMS), which is the computer ”brain„ of the aircraft responsible for flight planning and navigation. The workshop is based on professional training solutions used by pilots, but presented in an accessible, engaging way tailored to the participants” age.
How to become a pilot?
Theoretical and practical workshops
During the „How do I become a pilot?” workshop, we will discuss, among other things, the requirements, the stages of acquiring the various aviation licences, as well as the possible career paths of a pilot. The participant will also learn about the work of a pilot in an airline.
Flight rules (basics of piloting)
Theoretical and practical workshops
During the class, the participant will learn basic concepts, laws and definitions. Among other things, we will talk about the structure of the aircraft, the operation of the on-board instruments and how to read information from them, as well as explaining the mechanism of lift force generation.
Communications (aviation radiotelephony)
Theoretical and practical workshops
What is the breakdown of radio waves? How is an on-board radio station constructed? The alphabet used in aviation and the principles of radio correspondence - these are the topics the participant will learn. We will also practice communicating with ATC in an interactive way.
