Be a Pro is a group of packages focused primarily on as much realism, procedures and checklists as possible. The packages in the BE A PRO category have been prepared for people who, in addition to just flying, would also like to learn the answers to the questions of what, how and why real pilots perform during a real flight. It is also an excellent choice for those who already have some basics and wish to expand their knowledge, develop their skills and use the full capabilities of our simulators.

Description | BE A CAPTAIN PLUS Package

BE A CAPTAIN PLUS [Be a Pro] is an extended version of the BE A CAPTAIN package and at the same time the most comprehensive and realistic flight session at AirPoint — as many as 180 minutes of work in the cockpit, allowing you to experience a full flight operation from start to finish, without any time pressure.

Following the theoretical introduction, the instructor discusses the detailed flight scenario, weather conditions, route, and procedures. The participant starts from a cold and dark state, performs a full aircraft setup, boards the passengers, and then carries out a complete flight from point A to B using SID/STAR procedures and checklists.

Thanks to the extended session time, it is possible to focus on every stage of the flight — from planning, through takeoff, cruise and landing, to the final debriefing.

This is a package for those who want to live the full pilot experience and refine every element of the flight operation.

Step 1

Captain's briefing

Briefing on route A→B, weather conditions, procedures and flight scenario in accordance with airline standards.

Step 2

Cold & Dark

Starting from a cold and dark aircraft and full onboard systems startup procedure.

Step 3

Full FMC / CDU configuration

Introduction of the route, waypoints, speed, altitude, and configuration of the autopilot and flight profile.

Step 4

Passenger boarding

Cabin preparation simulation, passenger boarding and final checklists before pushback from the gate.

Step 5

Taxiing and line-up

Taxi procedures, taxiing to the runway, line-up on the centreline, and preparation for takeoff.

Step 6

Take-off and climb

Full startup procedure, climb according to the flight plan, and transition to SID departure procedures.

Step 7

Flight and flight management

Cockpit work during flight, speed, altitude and fuel management, as well as systems monitoring.

Step 8

STAR procedures and approach

Entering the STAR arrival procedures, preparation for the approach and aircraft configuration for landing.

Step 9

Landing and taxiing to the gate

Landing at the destination airport, braking, vacating the runway and taxiing to the stand.

Step 10

Captain's debrief

Review of executed manoeuvres, procedures and captain's decisions, and a summary of the entire A to B operation.

Flights with AirPoint are an experience for everyone — regardless of age, level of knowledge or previous contact with aviation. Our sessions are designed with adults and teenagers in mind, but we are also happy to tailor them for the youngest aviation fans. The minimum recommended age for participants is 8 years.

Included BE A CAPTAIN PLUS the participant gains complete freedom of choice of airport from over 24,000 available worldwide. The expanded scenery database includes not only realistically rendered runways, but also detailed airports, terminals, cities and landmark terrain features that create an exceptionally immersive flight environment.

All civil airports in Poland are available in AirPoint — including. EPWA, EPKK, EPKT, EPGD — along with recognisable skyline elements, such as Palace of Culture and Science whether National Stadium. You can begin the operation at Caribbean, to carry out a flight over Manhattan, Chicago or Florida, or choose Dubai and see the tallest building in the world from the cockpit.

This is an extended version of the flagship package — complete freedom of choice for the start and end locations of the A→B operation, from local ports to the most spectacular scenery across the globe, with additional time for manoeuvres, procedures and individual scenarios.

Weather conditions

Flights carried out as part of the BE A CAPTAIN PLUS package can take place in any weather conditions. At AirPoint, we are able to simulate any conditions, including weather anomalies. The BE A CAPTAIN and BE A CAPTAIN PLUS packages also offer live weather, i.e. weather that actually prevails at a given time and over a given area.
