The 29th Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity is behind us! Along with it, our orchestra auctions have also ended. With great joy we can sum them up in two words: WE HAVE A RECORD! 
This year, flights in our simulators with three highly respected figures in the aviation world were up for auction. Lukasz Czepiela will fly with the auction winner in an Airbus A320 at AirPoint Krakow, while Peter Lipinski and Tadeusz Wrona will sit at the controls of a Boeing 737-800 at AirPoint Warsaw. The fate of each auction was in the balance until the very end, with decisive bids coming in literally at the last second.
An unusual thing happened after the auction of the flight with Captain Tadeusz Wrona. The person in second place, although he ultimately lost the auction by PLN 21, decided to donate the entire amount he offered to the Orchestra. As a thank you for such an unusual approach, together with the captain we decided to prepare an additional surprise. It all added up to a great result. In the auctions for the 29th Finale, we collected PLN 17,721!
We held our first auction 2 years ago, on the occasion of the 27th Finale. Since then, all orchestral auctions have raised a total of PLN 32,871! Thank you to everyone who contributed to this result. We are happy that together we can do something really good and we can't wait for next year's 30th Grand Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity!
